Filling Stations of
the 1920's and 30's (Scroll down and click the start button on the video)
Most roads in the 1920's and 30's were dirt. There
were no freeways, no exits, very few convenience stores, and
definitely
no
credit card swipers. In most cases, an attendant
filled your car, for less than $2.00. Most filling
stations did not have restrooms. As you can see from
the video, some stations were nothing but a
