Filling Stations of the 1920's and 30's  (Scroll down and click the start button on the video)

Most roads in the 1920's and 30's were dirt.  There were no freeways, no exits, very few convenience stores, and definitely no credit card swipers.  In most cases, an attendant filled your car, for less than $2.00.  Most filling stations did not have restrooms.  As you can see from the video, some stations were nothing but a shack and a pump.  Click here for the photos that comprised this video.
