once owned two Ford Pinto's, and that helped me learn basic
auto maintenance and mechanics. I once performed an engine overhaul on one,
and did plenty of tinkering on both -- some of it along the
roadside. Only 40 years
separated the Pinto from the Model A. So there are some
similarities.
