About: My first car was a 1925 Model T Ford, which I
bought when I was 13 years old out of a farmer’s grove, for
$3.00. The spokes in the wooden wheels were rotten and
broken, the roof was completely gone, and the body needed
wood. Luckily, the farmer had an extra set of wheels stored
in his barn, which he gave me. When my dad first saw the car
he told me it needed to go to the junk man. The next morning
when I got up he was working on it, and by the end of the
day we had it drivable. We replaced the wood, upholstered
it, and I drove it to high school every day for over a year
before selling it.
